 Performance in Competitive Examinations

Our students every year take up competitive exams like GRE, GMAT, CAT, GATE defense selection exams. A good number of them have been successful in securing high scores.

Employment.

Our students are employed in both public sector and private sector industries like MICO, Infosys, WIPRO , GATI, Gokuldas etc.

PERFORMANCE

  • 3 batches of students were accompanied by faculty members to CYNOSURE, an annual conference at the dept. of IPE, Annamalai University, Chidambaram)
  • One student Ms Shruthi Singh of 8th semester accompanied by a staff attended national conference COGNISCIENCE 2004 at NIE Mysore and presented a technical paper Titled "Value Engineering, a Cost Reduction Tool" which bagged 2nd prize.

AUGMENTATION COURSE

Logistics planning and management is very important in today’s business processes and Discrete event system Simulation is an effective tool to

achieve greater efficiency in managing logistics related problems in manufacturing, service and distribution systems. It is therefore important to reinforce this course to the students of industrial engineering and management as a value addition to their degree program.

 

SUBJECT: Simulation modeling, analysis and applications.

FOCUS GROUP: V and VII sem students.
