Six batches of Semester scheme Bangalore University students had Industrial study tour in their final year and they have visited Power projects of Karnataka, MRPL, and other industries at Poona and Mumbai.
1999 and 2000 batch students accompanied by faculty members made a three day tour to Udupi, Manipal, Yaana and visited MRPL at Mangalore during 28-30 November 2002
All the faculty members along with students had a one day excursion to Kaveri sangama, Chunchi falls meke daatu on Sunday, 13th May 2003
Students along with faculty members regularly visit Industries like Ashok Leyland, BEML, Rapsri and BAMUL.
A 3 day excursion/industrial visit was arranged to some places of visit to Waynad district of Kerala during 19-21 October 2004 . 23 students accompanied by S.Padmanabha, Asst.professor visited Harrison Malayalam tea factory and a other places of visit like Soochipara falls, Pogot lake and Edakkal caves.
